Hey Carey Seahawks! It’s that time of the year! The crisp air, falling leaves, pumpkin spice, and sweater weather; It’s autumn! The start of back to school and the transition from the end of warm sunny days to the beginning of cooler early mornings during the autumnal season.
We are just starting to get a glimpse of the golden days with that slight chill of a breeze that has yet to come and stretch throughout the day! The first day of autumn fell on September 22nd, 2025. Some people argue that autumn is the best time of the year due to its seasonal balance. Not to mention the perfect time to pick apples and pumpkins!
The shift in colors of the trees offers a rich vibrant fall foliage, and nothing says autumn more than snuggling up on the couch with a blanket and watching your favorite fall movie! The fulfilling nostalgia and tranquil scenery truly brings a warming sensation of comfort to accompany such a beautiful season. In honor of the beginning of this wonderful season full of festive holidays, the initiation of wearing knit sweaters, and consuming pumpkin flavored treats, students in the photography department were able to capture autumn out and about!
A big thanks to Laseni Thambeliyagoda and Sofia Campoli for sharing their autumn moments and memories with us here at H. Frank Carey!
