How bout them Seahawks?! What a way to finish out their regular season with an absolute beating to Floral Park by a killer score of 16-4. The Seahawks now finish what was a pretty successful regular season finishing with a 10-6 record. In the game against Floral Park many different players got themselves onto the scoreboard starting with Carey’s superstar James McGrath who had himself yet another hat trick and added 2 assists. James ended his season with an outstanding 52 goals and 24 assists adding up to 76 total points. What an outstanding season for the future Adelphi Panther. Following McGrath another name that’s been covered throughout the season was Ethan Peltzer who had 2 goals and 3 assists yesterday finishing his season off with 21 goals and 23 assists which puts his total points at 44. Pretty impressive season for another senior leaving for college this fall. Furthermore from those two guys Jayden Radow who unlike the other two has another year of Carey lacrosse had himself an amazing junior year. In yesterday’s game he scored also 2 goals and 3 assists and he finishes his season with 25 goals and 22 assists which puts his total points at 47. Vince Vicari another player highlighted this season had 2 goals and 2 assists yesterday which put his season total of goals and assists at an impressive 30 goals and 25 assists which totals him at 55 points. A very impressive season by him as well looking to only improve into his senior year. Another player who’s name has been more under the radar this entire season was another junior that is Michael Carollo. He had himself a pretty nice junior year scoring 15 goals and 11 assists totaling him at 26 points. Yesterday Mike scored 2 goals and had 1 assist to add into yesterdays fun fest. Diving back into the seniors here Will Cooper had himself a very nice senior season with 15 goals and 17 assists totaling him at 32 points. Yesterday Will scored a goal and an assist. Other scorers yesterday included Eddie Flaherty again with 2 goals, Someone’s name who wasn’t said all season in Dylan Walsh had himself a 2 goal game, Dean Martucci another senior had himself an assist and last but not least Justin Barongi had himself an assist. What a game overall for a Seahawks team that is now embarking on their playoff campaign. They are officially the 7 seed playing at home at Carey against the 10 seed who is still TBD. Should the Seahawks win that game they will move on to play the 2 seed who is Manhasset. Best of luck to the Seahawks throughout the playoffs.
