On Friday October 24 H. Frank Carey had their annual Spirit Day! On Spirit day everyone wore their Carey gear and admired their hallways that they worked on for weeks! Each grade was assigned a theme. This year’s overall theme was childhood story books! The hallways were filled with Carey spirit and childhood nostalgia! With our favorites from Class of 2031’s Winnie the Pooh, to Class of 2026’s Peter Pan and all of the classes in between! Each and every hallway was made with pops of color, glittery sequence, fun designs and so much more! We are so proud of all the Carey Seahawks who came together to represent their classes. So much hard work was put into these hallways and they couldn’t have been possible without the hardworking Seahawks. From early morning meetings, to the day before, these hallways were so intricately made and truly give you that feeling like being a little kid again. So much went into these wonders of creativity that students would work on with their class advisors! Congratulations to the Class of 2029 for their hallway winning the Grades 7-9 competition! The cute characters and the story lines along the hallway felt like we were inside the book! And for our senior high students, grades 10-12, congratulations to the class of 2026! Their theme was Peter Pan, and they’re motto was to “Never Grow Up”. Thank you so much to all the wonderful Seahawks who made Spirit day such a success!
